Description: A Cabernet Sauvignon par excellence! The vines for Gran Lurton grow at the foot of the Andes, similar to that for Piedra Negra. The nose is still closed, but the strong flavors of dark berries and cassis are already clearly noticeable on the palate. Wine processing: Meticulous selection of the grapes will take place in the vineyard. The grapes come from dry and warm vineyards in Mendoza at the foot of the Andes. During the fermentation, the mash was überpumt regularly in the same style as is common in Bordeaux. The wine goes through malolactic fermentation and is aged for 12 months in new oak barrels from Allier Troncais and American oak. Grand Lurton is clarified with egg white and filled without further filtration on the bottle.
