Wine processing: In the Columbia Valley, 2006 was marked by two unusual weather extremes: first, went to early spring near a record low amounts of rain, then it was the summer temperatures, the true record highs reached. In exposed locations, the already warmer growing areas, such as Horse Heaven Hills, Wahluke Slope and the grapes ripened so from an early age and developed a powerful aroma.
